How to calculate your size

To choose the correct shoe size, measure your foot as follows:

  1.  Put your foot against a wall and, using a book, mark the place where it reaches. For the measurement to be correct, you must be standing with your body weight distributed between both feet (*You can use a blank piece of paper, but it is important that it is right against the wall and does not move).

  2.  Measure the distance. It is important to take this measurement with socks similar to the ones you are going to wear with the shoes you want to buy.

  3.  Measure both feet and choose the larger size (very few people have identical feet).

  4.  Add 7 mm to get the active foot measurement and refer to the sizing chart. The size you should choose is the next size up. For example, if the active foot measures 258 mm, we would choose size 39.

With this system we are measuring the length, but not the width. Most shoes have a tapering shape at the front. The most extreme case is women’s shoes with pointed toes. People with wide feet may need a slightly larger size, as the narrowing of the shoe will act as a stopper and will not allow the full length of the shoe to be used.
